Eric Jordan was born in Meridian, Mississippi. He grew up close by in a small, one-stoplight town called Decatur. Eric discovered music at a young age and fell in love with the promise of the different life that it offered…a life where the sky was big and the world didn’t end at the county line. Throughout his years of playing roadhouse dives from New Orleans to Memphis, traveling about the US and Mexico, and singing songs to anyone who would listen, he encountered many musicians and found himself in various incarnations of bands…notably including The Southern Blues Orchestra, The Rain Dogs, and Six Ways From Sunday. After years of feeling stagnant, he made his way to Texas, where he would eventually form Back to Blue.
